Re:form Consulting is run by Nicky Hill, a highly experienced practitioner, manager and consultant who brings over 20 years of experience creating positive change for young people affected by complex challenges. Nicky has spent her career in a variety of organisations and roles including Youth Justice Services, Children’s Social Care, Connexions, Early Help, community based youth work, voluntary sector leadership and policy. She has particular specialisms in safeguarding outside the home, public health approaches to violence reduction, youth voice, child criminal exploitation, youth housing and homelessness, trauma and policing.
Approach
Nicky is an energetic, passionate and collaborative professional. She knows that creating change is often difficult but doesn’t shy away from the challenge. She brings deep insight into human behaviour and systems, combined with a sharp analytical mind able to explore things from a range of perspectives. A strong communicator and facilitator, Nicky will always bring with her powerful tools to influence and compel others to see things differently, whether it’s young people or politicians.
All of Nicky’s work is unique, drawing on her expertise as well as research, evidence and best practice. If you choose to work with Re:form Consulting, you get Nicky’s full commitment, she never subcontracts to others but often brings in other expert professionals to add value. Costs are on a sliding scale and dependent on both the commissioning organisation and the piece of work; Nicky is always good value and open to exploring what is possible within any budget.
Potential Projects Nicky is a subject matter expert in a range of specialist areas detailed in What I Do. Nicky is open to discussing any potential projects that draw on that expertise. Nicky is also open to conversations with organisations that deliver services in these areas to build strategic and operational capacity and capability, drawing on her senior leadership experience including several interim CEO roles.
